Students city-wide are invited to attend Sunnyside Community Services' free SONYC Summer Program for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Participants will enjoy a variety of fun and enriching activities on site, and on day trips.
On Monday, June 8, students from PS150Q walked a mile to raise awareness and funds in support of Alzheimer's Disease programs. After walking, students tied purple ribbons to the fence in front of the school, near a number of handwritten signs.
Thanks to New York Cares and support from Morgan Stanley, over 100 members of the Center for Active Older Adults enjoyed painting and potting their own personalized flowerpots. Morgan Stanley volunteers engaged members during their artistic endeavors, and helped as needed.
